We had a great weekend in the warm up tent backstage at the Download festival this weekend. The Guitarist review of the Classic Lead 80 has obviously created a stir with loads of rock and metal guitarists stopping by to check out Hayden amps. Click here to see some pix.

Sucioperro/Marmaduke Duke guitarist JP Reid is loving his new Hayden rig. "For years I have searched for a backbone to my live sound and I finally found it in the Hayden cabs and heads," reports JP. "Since I started gigging with them I have had countless guitarists come up and ask me what I use. They are supremely powerful and reliable."

Hayden amps were the talk of the recent Frankfurt Musikmesse. We set up a fully equipped workstation where Hayden's Dave Green hand-built amps from bare chassis to finished product - Click here for pictures.

Simon Neil and JP Reid will be taking to the road this February as The Marmaduke Duke who will be coming to a town near you! JP took delivery of his new Hayden Classic Lead 80 and 412 cab and cant wait to get it out on the road. The band who are a side project for both Jp whose band Sucioperro have been busy along with Simons band Biffy Clyro who have also had a mental year and are set for another one in 09! So if you haven't heard it already go and check out 'Kid Gloves' (out on 02/03/09!! video already on iTunes).
